The project

Philadelphia’s Participatory Design Lab is working with Philadelphia’s Office of Homeless Services, conducting a comprehensive assessment of Philadelphia’s homeless intake services, with an eye towards making operational improvements and piloting new programs. PPL is partnering with PDL, acting as strategic advisors throughout their year-long service design engagement with the Office of Homeless Services. The PDL was founded in 2017 after winning an award from the Knight Foundation’s Cities Challenge.

The Outcome

PPL’s work  with the PDL is continuing through 2018. Stay tuned for outcomes, which are expected in 2019.
